I am trying to run a bat file via the login script. I have rights and
have mapped to the sys vol. Login script reads as follows:

#J:\public\sophos\sophos.bat

All the necessary files are in the same folder to run the bat and I have
explicit rights to the Sophos folder.

When I login I see the bat file is being accessed at some level, looks
like it is at least being read, but the changes are not being
implemented. I can run the bat from a command prompt at it works just
fine.

Here is the bat file:

@ECHO OFF

REM Windows version check
VER | FIND "Windows XP" >NUL
IF NOT ERRORLEVEL 1 GOTO WINXP
VER | FIND "Windows 2000" >NUL
IF NOT ERRORLEVEL 1 GOTO WIN2K
VER | FIND "Windows ME" >NUL
IF NOT ERRORLEVEL 1 GOTO WINME
VER | FIND "Windows 98" >NUL
IF NOT ERRORLEVEL 1 GOTO WIN98
VER | FIND "Windows 95" >NUL
IF NOT ERRORLEVEL 1 GOTO WIN95
GOTO ERROR

:WINXP
CLS
ECHO.
ECHO Windows XP detected
REGEDIT.EXE /S SOPHOS.REG
snetcfg -v -u ms_server
snetcfg -v -l C:\WINDOWS\INF\netserv.inf -c s -i ms_server
GOTO EXIT

Thanks for any help
