    Force context change

    Hi!

I'm currently moving alot of users from one OU to another within the sam
tree and OU. This will cause a change of context for them and I wonder if I
can somehow make that change for them?

Say I move the object to UsersOLD.Company to UsersNEW.Company, leave an
alias in the UsersOLD (so that they can login dispite the change). Can I
thru Novell tool, registry change etc. change the default context to
UsersNEW when they have logged in?

    I'm running NW6, Zenworks 6.5

Thanks for any help and/or suggestions

    /Martin

Default context where? In the C32 login GUI? That would be through a
registry setting on the workstations ...

Best to create a batch file that changes the default location I'd say.

    Ok! Thanks for Input.

Listed what I did in case someone else wonders.

Made changes to the following registry key:

    HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Novell\Location
    Profiles\Services\{1E6CEEA1-FB73-11CF-BD76-00001B27DA23}\Default\Tab1\

And in that, the string: Context -> OU.O

    Distributed via Zen...
.... or bat if you like...

    Cheers
