I had to disable opportunistic file locking and client side caching due to
some serious database corruption problems. I've had no complaints about
such things since I disabled them.

The problem is that a batch process that works on several databases
sequentially is taking about ten times as long to run as it used to take.
I have a strong feeling that this batch process was taking advantage of
the caching before.

My question is if there is a way to selectively disable caching for
specific files or directories? I've searched and come up empty.

Thanks very much for your thoughts.
