Hi,

We are planning to install Novell 6.5 on a WAN(5MB ATM) across three
offices. Each office have it's own Novell server with one more server in
the headoffice as the Master eDirectory server. Because we have about
2000 workers in each office, we want to have each department ou in the
container of each office. Also, there will be a seperate printer and
server ou. Our design is something like this...

o=Comp
ou=officeA.Comp <--- This is head office
ou=server.officeA.Comp
ou=printer.officeA.Comp
ou=hr.officeA.Comp
ou=manufacturing.officeA.Comp
ou=sales.officeA.Comp
ou=IT.officeA.Comp
ou=OfficeB.Comp
ou=server.officeB.Comp
ou=printer.officeB.Comp
ou=manufacturing.officeB.Comp
ou=sales.officeB.Comp
ou=OfficeC.Comp
ou=server.officeC.Comp
ou=printer.officeC.Comp
ou=manufacturing.officeC.Comp
ou=sales.officeC.Comp

We are planning to partition the officeA, officeB & officeC container and
put a Read-Write replica on all servers. Is that good enough? Or do we
need to make partition on all sub-containers? We are worry of the
Directory Synchronization if there are too many replicas but on the other
hand, if we partition just the top containers, the login time will take
longer.

Thank you for your suggestions

Allen
