What is the functional difference between, if I have a large Pool on an NSS
volume, creating a volume for a specific purpose and adminstering rights to
the root of the volume or creating a folder on an existing volume and MAP
ROOT to that? Either way, the users will see it as a top level item in
Explorer, and I can administer rights either way.

We have a folder on an existing server called SOFTWARE where we copy in the
contents of most of the CD's we use to install things on the network. It's
currently about 30 gb. I'm trying to decide whether, on our new 6.5 server,
I should make a software folder on my main data volume or whether I should
create another volume named software in the same pool.

Thanks very much in advance.
