Not really a Netware-specific question but I'd appreciate an answer if
anyone has one, anyway. We have a situation at a remote site where a
single wire was run where two are needed, and apparently running a
second wire is simply not going to happen, but we may be able to get an
electrician to use the spare wires in the Cat-5 cable to attach a second
connector and make the corresponding changes on the other end,
effectively giving us our second wire.

Back in the days of 10-meg Ethernet, we used to see this done all the
time and it worked fine to the best of my knowledge, but I don't know
about now with the speeds at 100 and 1k if it's still OK. To the best
of my knowledge, it's still just pins 1, 2, 3 and 6 that are required.

Any war stories on this one appreciated.

Thanks in advance.
