Hello,

We have recently upgraded our Tree of 3 NW6SP4 to NW6SP5. One was a
migration (new hardware), the others were in-place upgrades. Everything
went really smoothly - we first thought.

I occurred that admin was intruder-locked-out by one of the servers
(Intruder address equals IP address of a replica server). After re-setting
the account it becomes locked again after about 2-3 hours. Somehow this
seems to happen more frequently in morning hours.

Tried to stop any unnecessary services on the specific server (e.g. backup
exec, netshield, etc.) Ė no change.
In Novell Remote Manager of that server I then found out that the failed-
login Logs displays the following:
Time: Thursday, 30.03.2006 11.19
Address:
User: .masvNDSAttributeLabels.[Attribute Definitions].[Schema Root]

Time: Thursday, 30.03.2006 11.18
Address:
User: .masvNDSAttributeLabels.[Attribute Definitions].[Schema Root]

Time: Thursday, 30.03.2006 11.16
Address:
User: .masvNDSAttributeLabels.[Attribute Definitions].[Schema Root]

Time: Thursday, 30.03.2006 11.15
Address:
User: .masvNDSAttributeLabels.[Attribute Definitions].[Schema Root]
....
Somehow this seems to be the reason for the intruder lock-out on admin.
But I donít know what masvNDSAttributesLabels is and canít find anything
further in KB or the web.

For me it seems to be most likely a application which were not installed
correctly during the upgrade. I have already re-installed NMAS. No change.
dsrepair no errors, NDS Health check no problems. time sync and replica
state fine. Donít know what to try next.

Has anybody got a hint which product might be responsible for
masvNDSAttributeLabels ?

Many Thanks!
