Hi everyone,

id like to install 3 novel server 6.5 sp5 in one tree.

Each server are separated by a firewall.

( Lan#1 ) Server#1 (Lan#1) <--> Firewall#1 <--> (DMZ) Server#2 (DMZ) <-->
Firewall#2<--> (Lan#2) Server#3 (Lan#2)

---- story here ----

We install Server#1 2 years ago into one segment (Lan1).

We install server#2 6 month ago into anoter segment separate by a firewall
(DMZ)
We open port 524 and icmp into the first firewall and we install and use the
second server whitout a problem.

Now we try to install a new server Server#3 into another segment (Lan#2)
separated from the DMZ by another firewall.
We open port 524 and icmp between Server#3 and Server#2 into firewall #2 and
we start the installation. We dont open any communication between Server#3
and Server#1.

---- problem here ----

The Server#3 see the tree but dont want to create the new context for him
and dont want to insert himself into the tree. It stop at "Time
Syncronisation" with an error -626 (Unable to resolve).
And we saw start of communication between Server#3 and Server#1 into
firewall log on port 524.

---- Questions here ----

Do the Server#3 need to see Server #1 absolutly?

Do the fact that we install Server#1 before the inbetween Server#2 tag the
Server#1 as a "primary" server and obligate the Server#3 to communicate with
Server#1?

Do the fact that root partition is associated to the Server#1 play a role
into this problem?

---- cut here ---- :)

Thanx for your help
