We have a 2 node shared scsi cluster. Nw6.0 SP5, and all the latest
patches:
edir873
nwftpd10
wsock6g
tcp610L
nw60sp5ncp
nw6nss5c
nwlib6c
httpstk4
flsysft11
edir8736 (Which includes, Nici267, secupd, nmas238)
tsa5up18

We use Veritas NetBackup Datacenter 4.5 and I installed the FP8 updated
client.

We upgraded one node to SP5 + all the patches (minus TSA5up18, it was
at TSA5up17 at the time). And every time backups started, we got a hard
abend, (No keyboard input allowed, could not get to the debugger, power
off, power on to continue). This server saw TSA Read on the Abend screen.

So I added TSA5up18 and Netbackups FP8 client, and still! Did this 5
days in a row.

Then we patched the other node, but it was not working to actually
backup, when I fixed the non relevant problem, it too crashed with TSA
Open this time on the first backup attempt. In trying to fix it, I
patched it to TSA5up18 (on top of everything above) and the NBU FP8 patch.

Has anyone seen this? I cannot submit an Abend.log since it is not
writing one. And I cannot do a core cump, since I do not get that
option on the abend screen.
