First -- Thanks for your time.

Using 6.5 SB / SP 5
GW 6.5 / Sp 6.5.2
BE9.1

I might be doing a N0-no.
There seems to be so much said about open file backup and gwtsa and
-- ect. I choose (right or wrong) to do the following:

In BE 9.1 I under View /Edit policy

I set it this way.

Execute before backup: sys:\system\gwdown.ncf
Execute after backup: sys:system\grpwise.ncf

Delay after commands: 30 seconds

The gwdown.ncf file contains these commands:
UNLOAD GWPOA
UNLOAD GWMTA
unload GWIA
stopweb

So basically I shut down GW - do the backup - do not worried about open
files and restart.

Now that I have done this - is it safe?

Again thanks for your time.
