I run 6.5.3 novell on both my media server (with Backupexec 9.1 build
1152) and the remote groupwise mail server (I just upgrade the Backupexec
media server and remotes to build 1158 today). Twice a week (id say) not
every night but maybe for the past month the remote has rebooted durring
the backup (7 times), I find the server sitting at the server prompt when
I come in in the morning. Never reboots on weekends becuase I don't do
backups on SAT or SUN. I posted this a while back in the administration &
Tools forum. The suggestion was first to "set auto restart after abend =
0". Which was already set but never the less tries to reboot because like
I said it is sitting at the server prompt when I come in in the morning.

About 3 or 4 months ago I was running OFM (open file manager), but had
problems syncing with the server. Now I load backupexec without the ofm
option (-T0). And load mannually:

"tsagw /EnableGW=yes"
"tsafsgw /home=sys:\apps\law_post /home=sys:\wpdomain"
(post office & domain) instead of running OFM

Wondering if anyone knows if backupexec can cause something like this? Or
point me to any other cause that might tell me why it is rebooting.

Any help would be appreciated - RJM
