Started with NW 6.5 SP2 and GW 6.5 SP2 with Backup Exec v9.1 and everythingworking just fine.
Since upgrading to NW 6.5 SP5 & GW 6.5 SP6 the GWTSA module seems to load OK but Backup Exec fails to recognise the existence of the GroupWise system, which is now only visible as a MAIL volume.
Tried switching to using TSAFS but this appears to fail to accept the switch /EnableGW=yes and reports neither a true or false status on the console or in the logger screens.
There seems to be no way of establishing the TSAFS status.
There also seems to be file TSAFSGW.NCF created which loads TSAFSGW but this also fails to confirm its status.
The current backup currently runs by backing up the MAIL volume as a file system and, as one would expect, reports masses of errors relating to open files.
My guess is that it's skipping all the open files and therefore not actually backing up the GW databases.
I need to be sure that I'm backing up the GroupWise 6.5 SP6 on all servers recently upgraded to NW 6.5 SP5
Does anyone got any good ideas ?
