We have a need to migrate a pool from one disk-array to another on our SAN
with our cluster. I've seen a couple of methods, but the one that I have
questions about is the RAID method. The testing I've done in my vmware
environment goes very simply:

1: In NSSMU, mirror the existing pool/volume on another array
2: Wait for the remirror to complete (a long time w/350GB)
3: Delete the mirror-segment on the old array

This leaves behind a pool with the same name as the original pool, and a
RAID device with just one segment. This works just fine this way. The
question I have is... is it possible to demote that volume back to
non-RAID, or will I be stuck with it for a while?

Novell, it does a network good
