I have a question regarding using iSCSI to do a snapshot of a volume?

Are there any complications with having a Target iSCSI server accross a WAN link and trying to snapshot pools/volumes to that Target iSCSI?

Assuming that's okay, my Initiator server is already using iSCSI partitions for create shared volumes. So, that means I have a server whos Pools/volumes are stored on an iSCSI partition. Now, could I have the Target iSCSI servers do a snapshot to the remote iSCSI Target accross the WAN link or would my server have to do the SnapShot to the remote iSCSI Target?
