I'm having a problem with our backup.
We have a two node Netware 6.5 sp4a cluster running file and ndps services.
Any cluster resources running on Soundwave backs up ok. If a resource is
running on its' partner, Unicron, the server will at some point during the
backup abend and the resources will fail over to Soundwave where they will
proceed to backup ok.

When Unicron abends it doesn't update abend.log even though I press X. The
abend screen says 'Abend on P00: Page fault Processor Exception' and says
that 'The CPU encounterd a problem executing code in NWPA.NLM. The problem
may be in that module or in data passed to that module by a process owned by

Looking at the error log tab in NWAdmin32 for Unicron I also found that the
following error occurs moments before the abend:

15-01-2006 5:39:41 pm: SERVER-5.70-3728
Severity = 0 Locus = 17 Class = 21
Server logical address space is running low. File Cache Maximum Size has
been set to 1687389184.

The really annoying thing is that Unicron is a replacement for a server that
actually reset itself whenever the backup ran. So now I have almost the same
problem the only difference being that this time I actually have an error.

If anyone can shed any light on this weirdness I'd be most grateful.

I posted this message under 'abends-hangs' and I was told that the memory
problem is a bug in SP4. Does anyone know when this is likely to be fixed? I
don't seem to be able to find a version of the TSA that's any newer than
what came in SP4, assuming the memory problem is caused by it.

Ta in advance
