I am new to eDirectory and just trying to understand what it is and
how it works. I have installed eDirectory 8.7.3 on Suse Enterprise 9
Box and am trying to create users into it. There are few issues I would
like to know more about and one of them being , how do I create volumes
for this box i.e. In actual production environment, the set up would be
as follows, we would be having Windows 2003 Server box with the 1 TB
space for users and we would be using this Suse box for authenticating
the users and running the necessary scripts for login and permissions.
How do I share or assign the space of Windows 2003 box for eDirectory
Home Directory option for these users. Is it possible to do this or it
is only possible to have volumes mounted on Netware system ?
