>From the research I've done, WebDAV as an internal service is essential
to NetStorage the web interface; in fact, they're often blended
together in descriptions.

However, I've been asked to open allow "NetStorage" (meaning the web
interface), and lock down WebDAV completely. (Thought process: spyware
and viruses on our users' poorly-maintained home machines can write
directly to a WebDAV mapped drive, but don't know a thing about good
ol' clunky NetStorage.)

Haven't seen a word, either on the newsgroups or in the TIDs, about how
one might do this, or if it's even possible. Has anyone tried? Has
anyone succeeded?
