Device "[V323-A0-D3:0] HITACHI HUS103014FL3800 rev:SA16" deactivated by
driver due to device failure

Issue as reported above. After server restart, device get active and mounted
normally. 12 hours later same happened again. (The truth is that I had
iManager opened at that moment and some discs scaning was perfomed. Its
worth to know that during the night, regular backup procedure was perfomed
at this device. Data where copied from other servers by rsync without a
problem. Practically no other traffic then this performing to this
device. )

First time this happened two months ago. Then I just hot-plug in spare disc
same model and age and set it same as previous was.

There are two other devices on machine of similar type. Had no such problems
experienced with them ever. Everything is SCSI , NSS , each device in own
For testing purpose, yesterday, I put first failured device into another
server. Device started on another server in the fly, hot plugged and with
all data on it. This device still running at the moment.

Two TIDS founded related to this: 10094629 and 10017760 . I am not sure if
any of those addressing my issue. The first one talking about wrong and
right loading parameters in LAN driver CE1000.LAN causing exact deactivation
as mentioned above. Is there any other place where LAN driver parameters
loading out of AUTOEXEC.NCF or STARTUP.NCF ?

Any other suggestion would be welcome.
