When we setup our student user accounts we setup space restrictions on the
volume where their home directory resides. However, they not only seem to
be not working, but if they exceeed the limit it seems to corrupt the
files. If I look at the properties of the volume in C1, I can see all the
accounts with space restrictions on that volume, the values are correct.
However, there are some who have exceeded the limit. I have had several
come to me with powerpoint presentations that no longer open after they
just save them and they have all gone over their space restriction.
Apparetnly they don't receive any type of error messages notifying them
they are over the limit.

What are we doing wrong ? And why is it allowing them to save ? I have
turned off file caching and level 2 oplocks on the server. Please help.
