I have a 3 node cluster and would like to keep my production volumes
mounted on Cluster1 and Cluster2 and use Cluster3 mainly for Standby and
backups. Can I do a snapshot on say Cluster1 for a volume named SOFT
and then mount that volume on Cluster3?

The volume SOFT is clustered and the documentation recommends the
snapshot being on the same pool.

So Cluster3 shows this pool as deactive so it does not allow
mm snap activate SOFT_S1
to be run on Cluster3.

Is it possible to do this? I guess I don't understand the Snapshot
process, I would think that the whole point of doing this would be to be
able to use a separate pool of disks to store these clones and be able
to off load the processing so as not to compete with you production
