I'm evaluating OES, and I want to do the following:

1. I have windows users that login to netware with client 32. They can get
to their home directories that reside in a netware volume, say "HOMES".
This works fine.

2. I want to enable the same users to login from a linux workstation,
presumably using ldap to authenticate to edirectory running on oes. I want
the workstation to automount the users' home directories in /home on the
workstation, presumably via nfs. I have two problems here. The first is
that I can't nfs mount the remote directory when it is mounted as an NDS
volume. Is this (im)possible? I would like to avoid having two copies of
each user's files... Does anyone have other suggestions? The second is
that I simply cannot get a linux client to authenticate to my oes
edirectory via ldap. What steps are necessary on the server side for users
that I want to be able to do this, and what do I need to do to the client
machine? I'm using suse 9.3 on the client, so I have yast.
