I have a user whose login script occasionally fails to map drives but
when I reboot the workstation he's able to login fine again for a couple
of weeks. I've tried to login as several different users from the
workstation when the problem is reported and they all fail with error
8804 until I reboot the workstation. I can however navigate directly to
//server_name/volume and have access to the shared resources; the drive
mappings just fail. I am assuming it's a problem with the Novell client
or some interfering app on that workstation since I never have a problem
logging in from my workstation (as myself or any other user). Logs on
the workstation don't show anything out of the ordinary. The server is
NW 5.1 and the client is 4.83 SP1 running on Windows XP Pro. Any advice
is greatly appreciated!
