I have a Windows 2003 Server that attaches to 2 NetWare 6.5sp2 boxes and moves a LOT of data between them every day. I was using an older client (4.90, I think) but was getting a few odd file locking issues. So, I upgraded the client to and now the same file copy operation takes more than twice as long as it used to. The job starts and 6:00 p.m. and used to be finished before 8:00 a.m. the next day. Now it's taking more than 24 hours to finish. I need to get the time back to where it was before. Are there any settings to tweak or should I roll back and just deal with the file locking issues? There were no other changes to the system and no, the amount of data being moved did not double overnight either.
