I'm just wondering if they'll ever go down this road. AFP has too big
of a memory leak (because of the recursive ACL search) and our users
don't want to have to go through the trouble of binding via LDAP and
mounting volumes, etc... It seems that Novell would see this problem
and address it. Has anyone heard anything about development on such a
product? It would be nice if they built something they could port to or
from Linux and just make it one product.

I know there are 3rd party software packages available, but they are too
overpriced for our organization. Thanks for any insight.
