We are having some extreme slow downs and it appears that the Win98
machines are logging in with IPX although the clients are configured as
IP. The new server is running both only because the old server did and
the consultant did not want to cause any problems. Could the IPX be the
problem with the slow down? How can I find out why these systems seem to
hang all the time.(no viruses or worms) We are an office of about 45
machines, no more than 25 on at one time, this should not be causing such
a problem. The machines all have 513 to 638 in RAM. Any help in how to
troubleshoot this would be appreciated. B.
