I'm new to this thread stuff. So here goes. I do not have Novell.
This machine is a GX270 Dell running XP SP2 with ongoing upgrades
logging to 2003 server with all updates. Has McAfee with ongoing
upgrades. User keeps getting winlogon.exe error. He logs on and goes
along fine then all of a sudden he gets the winlogon generic control
dialog. Ok or cancel. No matter it reboots. It doesn't happen every
day. He can go a week with nothing.

Event viewer show faulting application winlogon.exe version
faulting module ntdll.dll, Version 5.1.2600.2180. Fault address

Help. I don't want to rebuilt this machine.
