There was a "Connectivity Delay with Multiple Redirectors" issue
(MS - Article ID: 171386) that required a manual change to the

The value of:

[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Contro l\NetworkProvider\Order]
"ProviderOrder" (installed as: "NetWareWorkstation")

....needed to match the value found in

[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Servic es\NetwareWorkstation\ -
"DeviceName" installed as: "\Device\NetWareRedirector"
but should be: "\Device\NetWareWorkstation" (if multiple
redirectors were present)

THE LATEST CLIENT (v4.91 SP2) with its Post SP releases (pkc + nwfs_3)
continue to install with a "NetWareRedirector" value in one place and
a "NetwareWorkstation" value in the other.

Unlike prior releases, I don't see any noticeable difference in making
the above change. (It may even be slightly slower, with the change,
although mid-day bandwidth can be deceiving.)

Does anyone know if the above Multiple Redirector problem has been fixed
(albeit with the different values being installed) or is it still
recommended to manually match the above values?
