Hi folks,

We have the following intermittent problem with our login script.

The HOME_DIRECTORY variable seems to be being corrupted by having
the attached server name prefixed to it. The script then fails to
recognise Server ST2 at all.
The only fix is to completely reboot the workstation.

The correct home drive mapping is ST2_DATA:STAFF\ST03BS

ST2 is the server where the Home & Shared Directories are located
REG3 is the regional server and DA
NWClient Version is 4.91 sp2, Servers are Netware 6.5

If anyone has any ideas I would be most grateful!

Here is the script:

*****
; Home Drive Mapping
MAP ROOT H: = %HOME_DIRECTORY

;Shared Area Drive Mapping
map root s:=.ST2_shared.pc.south.uhi:shared

; Public Search Drive Mapping
MAP S1: = ST2/SYS:PUBLIC

;Start PCounter Taskbar Utilities
#\\ST2\sys\public\pcounter.bat

no_default
exit
*****

When the script fails, this is the result:

*****
