I converted my volumes to nss and just got around to removing the old volumes yesterday. One of the old ones was userold volume. When i removed this, the entry on environment tab of the user also got removed and some people got the login-lgnwnt32.dll-400 error in login script. Took me a while to figure out what was going wrong but found out that redefining the user directory in environment tab seemed to remove the login script error and gave them access again.

So my question, should i use something like ice to redefine these settings on all objects - i mean is it necessary? I thought the environment setting was only used on initial creation of the user object, but then was not referenced after that once their object was created.
