    Windows Welcome Screen Unavailable

    Error message of "uninstall client services netware" when trying to
    select the Windows Welcome Screen when logging on to Windows XP. HELP!!

    Could be related to fast user switching - I would do what it says.
    Uninstall the netware client, see that everything works OK, then
    reinstall it. That should fix it.

    Just an admin, not a sysop, and just an educated guess on my part.

    Any Microsoft, Novell, or other third-party GINA (network client) being
    installed will disable the XP Welcome screen which is needed for fast
    user switching...

    Client Services for NetWare is actually Microsoft's client for IPX-only
    communications to legacy NetWare (e.g. 3.x, 4.x) environments. This
    forum is typically for Novell Client (formerly known as client32 or
    NetWare client). So Microsoft's forums may be able to provide
    additional info on the former.
