Hi,

R u just changing the SAN boxes or migrating the whole cluster? Last I
checked SAN copy performs a block based copy? So it doesn't matter to the
SAN boxes what the data is. We migrated from EMC FC4700 Clariions to EMC
CX600s and used the Novell consolidation utility, of course we were
migrating the nodes also.

ZONING!!! Pay very close attention to your zoning. What type of Zoning
will u b implementing? You will be changing Storage processors, this means
new LUN mappings and new Host Entries. R u changing the HBAs? I'm
assuming the HBAs r or will b Qlogics? Will u b using Powerpath? The HBA
driver & how it works 2gether with Powerpath is very important. Use only
EMC certified HW. Or you could have problems (no I don't work for EMC or
Novell).

If you can test your Migration plan DO SO!! If not, do so anyways!
Most of your work will be configuring the SAN boxes (Zoning, LUNs etc..).
Novell Cluster Services v1.7 and Novell NetWare v6.5 should not have a lot
of trouble with your migration, especially if it is Block based. NSS
should be able to deal! I repeat SHOULD be able to deal! TEST! OF COURSE
ALWAYS HAVE A BACKUP AND IF U DON'T HAVE A BACK DO NOT PROCEED!!

Good Luck!
