Hello everyone,
We're running a NW6.5 SP4a two-node cluster. We have a clustered "Users"
volume that everyone's My Documents folder points to. This volume is 94GB
and it takes it forever to migrate from one node to the other. When I say
"forever" I mean it can take well over 15 minutes. Sometimes it takes so
long I have to resort to yanking the network cable from the wall just to get
it to fail over in a timely fashion. For what it's worth, everyone has their
archive emails on this volume. Therefore, when I attempt to migrate there
are a lot of archive.pst files open (some of these files are rather
large...several hundred MB in size). Do you think having that many .pst
files open when trying to migrate the volume is causing the slow down? Any
other thoughts?
