This is a newly-installed 2-node (4 planned) OESNW cluster installed
from SP5 overlay CDs. Cluster has 10 volumes, each volume is in it's
own partition and pool, created using NSSMU. Hardware is HP/CPQ DL380
G4 Packaged Cluster w/MSA1000, 4g memory on each box. I am not using
(yet) CVSBIND.

I have read TID 10027333 and 10066471 and tried every combination of
syntax there to map a drive, both from a command line and from login
script, and have not yet had a successful mapping. Have tried mapping
to the ip address of the pool for a volume, mapping to the FQDN of the
volume using the cluster resource name, etc. No go.

If I browse to the physical server where a volume is mounted I can
right-click and do a Novell Map Network Drive and it completes
instantly.

What am I doing wrong?? Some specific pointers would help, assuming
the following:

1. Cluster is named CLUSTER and consists of SRVR1 and SRVR2.

2. Volume assignments: SRVR1 has APPS1, APPS3, SITES1, SITES3, and
VOL1. SRVR2 has APPS2, APPS4, SITES2, SITES4 and VOL2. For now, each
volume is set to fail over to the other server (this is planned as a
4-node cluster).

3. Address assignments:
CLUSTER= 10.10.100.1
SRVR1= 10.10.100.2
SRVR2= 10.10.100.3
APPS1POOL= 10.10.100.6
APPS2POOL= 10.10.100.7
SITES1POOL= 10.10.100.10
SITES2POOL= 10.10.100.11

and so on.

Map commands tried have included:

MAP J:=.GEMINI_APPS1.OU.ORG:

MAP J:=\\10.10.100.2\APPS1

MAP J:=\\10.10.100.2\NSSAPPS1

and several others....

Help!
