I suspect this is a case of "too old of a server" but I'm just looking
for some confirmation.

I have 2 netware 6.5 SP5 servers clustered for LDAP (no shared storage).
Both have 512 MB of RAM and both have older processors (Pentium II 550's
I think). I created a new generic IP service and gave it an IP address.
It works...but seems to be very slow when connecting to it via Softerra
LDAP Browser 2.6.

If I connect with the same LDAP browser to either servers "actual" IP it
runs much much faster (like a few seconds). Connected via the Virtual IP
that is clustered it can take a few minutes.

Is it the LDAP browser (that seems to try to cache everything when
connected), the servers...or both?
