we lately found a TID 10057924 in Novells Knowledgebase saying that we
have to down the whole cluster to increase the pool size (exactly "how
to add free space to an existing cluster enabled volume").

Until now we did this without even deactivating the pool.
Do we have to worry now about the health of our increased pools?
Why is Novell proposing to shut the whole cluster down to perform
cluster operations like adding free space to cluster volumes or
deleting cluster volumes?

(We have a 4 node cluster NW6.5, NCS 1.7, EMC CX600 SAN)
