On my test server,
as a User of iFolder, I am able to attach, download the iFolder
client, login and use iFolder with my machine.
With the same WS machine, I am able to open IE 6.0 (SP1), open the *dress https://xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx/iFolderServer/Admin and manage the
iFolder server.

On my production system, Same WS and same type of server.
as a User of iFolder, I am able to attach, download the iFolder
client, but because I have no iFolder users yet I am not able to login and use
iFolder with my machine.

With the same WS machine that works with the test environment, I am
able to open IE 6.0 (SP1), open the address
https://xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx/iFolderServer/Admin on the production machine. But when I attempt to do a
management option I am asked to authenticate. This fails with a "Your previous
login failed!" so I can not add users to iFolder.

I can see iFolder loading properly on the server and it compares with
my test server. No errors. I can see when I attach to iFolder as either a
client or administrator. I can see when I fail to authenticate a an *ministrator.
Error from server >09:15:16 GET
/iFolderServer/Admin/LDAPDirectory.htm&PreviousLoginFailed HTTP/1.1>

Thanks again.

Everything works in your test environment, just not live?
Using the same computer to try to administer both?

Which browser and java version are you using?
can you use the web client for iFolder? or does that give the same trouble?

If I remember correctly, I had a similar problem, and downloading
new
java runtime from sun took care of it.
