Greetings!

I usually at the very least mirror a couple of drives when I install a

server. What I like to do is create a "dos boot" partition on each
mirrored
drive complete with all files needed to boot the server. That way, if
a
drive dies, I can reboot the server and be back in business with
minimal if
any scsi reconfiguration and down time. My question is this: Why
doesn't
Novell include either a copy or better still , an xcopy command to
facilitate the copying of the critical netware boot files to the
mirrored
drives DOS partition. Does anyone know an easy work-around for doing
what
I'm describing. My method has been to create a win 98 boot disk which
has
xcopy on it, boot the server with it and then copy the files. Booting
a
Novell server with a Win 98 boot disk strikes me as being like
insulting a
rose with a toad. Any ideas?
