I have a bit of an odd setup, purely for demo purposes.

I have installed iFolder on Windows 2000 AS sp4 in a Virtual PC session
on a Windows XP host. The virtual PC is configured to use the host's
physical nic, so no natting takes place there.

The Windows 2000 server gets a 192.168.1.114 ip adress from the local
adsl router. Because I need Active Directory, I've configured the
Windows 2000 server with its own DNS server with a nonexisting domain
(let's call it internal.com). The server's full dns name is then
WARHOL.INTERNAL.COM

On the adsl router I set up a virtual server thingie, so that port 80
traffic (both udp and tcp) is forwarded to 192.168.1.114.

I configured the iFolder server's public address to be the address I'm
getting from my ISP: let's assume it's 62.1.1.1. iFolder server's
internal address is configured to be 192.168.1.114.

Now, if I try to connect using the iFolder client FROM the Windows XP
host with 192.168.1.114 as the server, I get:
- login bplat\home
- connection with server broken
- reconciling ifolder database
- connection with server broken
- ifolder reconciliation complete
- connection with server broken

If I connect using the web browser from the local host to
http://192.168.1.114, I get:
No website is configured at this address

If I connect using the web browser from the local host to
http://192.168.1.114/iFolder, I get
No website is configured at this address

If I connect using the web browser from the local host to
https://192.168.1.114/iFolderServer/Admin, I get the normal interface.

If I connect, using the iFolder client, from an outside host to 62.1.1.1
I get Unable to connect to server (-105).

If I connect, using the web browser, from an outside host to 62.1.1.1 I
get:
No website is configured at this address

If I connect, using the web browser, from an outside host to
62.1.1.1/iFolder I get the normal iFolder screen. If I then attempt to
login to my account it tries to log me in to https://www.warhol.com

I would like to be able to use the iFolder client from the outside (so,
connecting to the 62.1.1.1 iFolder server). What am I doing wrong? All
help is appreciated.
