I have iFolder setup to synch my Quickbooks accounting data so I can use it from office, home or laptop. Most of the time, this works fine, but every now and then iFolder simply refuses to synch the file. I get log entries like this:

3/14/2005 3:29:19 PM New client file: [iFolder]\QuickBooks\SysteLogic Corporation.QBW

(I created the log above myself using a log of a good sync as I don't have a log of a failure available right now, but that's exactly what it looks like when it fails)

That will continue forever. The only fix is to copy the file out of the directory, delete it, and then copy it back. Then it will sync fine again.

Yes, this is the only file I've ever had a problem with, but it's happened a dozen times in the few months I've been using iFolder. I do have many other files in the iFolder, but the Quickbooks file is the only one that really gets changed much.

Anyone see this behaviour before or have any ideas on how to fix it?

Oh, the server is NW6.5SP2, iFolder is 2.13 (as included in 6.5SP2), workstation OS is XP Pro on both desktops, XP Home on the laptop. I don't think it's happened yet on the laptop, but the laptop is quite new.

Thanks for any input,
