we use here the iFolder client in version 2.1.6.
When an user config his iFolder client for local use (internal LAN)
all work fine. When the same user try to use the iFolder client over
the internet he got no error messages but the connection fails.
One way to solve this problem is to make an entry to the local host
file where I write under the internal LAN domain name the public ip
address. A big shi... on this fix is, that when the user is back in
office, he has to change the host file.
We solve this problem at the moment with a batch file. The batch file
change the host file.
Has anyone a tip for me to solve this problem on a better way?
