I have a OES-linux server, installed as SP1, patched to SP2, running
iFolder 3 server, version 3.2.5347.1.

I am just starting to put users on the system to test it out.
On Mac OS X machines Mono is crashing, alot, causing Simias to shutdown
as well.
The MonoFramework-1.1.72.dmg and iFolder client ifolder3-3.2.5347.1.dmg
installers were used.

One user who is experiencing this has sent me the console.log and the
Mono crash log. The Mac is running OS 10.4.4. I've looked through the
files. I am not an expert at parsing these logs by any means though.

In the Mono.crash.log the following exception is the most common at each
Mono crash:
Exception: EXC_BAD_ACCESS (0x0001)
Codes: KERN_PROTECTION_FAILURE (0x0002) at 0x00000000

with an occasional:
Exception: EXC_BAD_INSTRUCTION (0x0002)
Code[0]: 0x00000002
Code[1]: 0x0254b5b8

In the console.log the only things that jumped out at me were:
warning: different zlib version (expected 1.1.3, using 1.2.3)
2006-01-25 07:39:39.347 iFolder 3[23089] processNodeEvent encountered an

I took a look through bugzilla, and found:
"Bug 83175 - Starting Mac iFolder client causes Mono to crash"
but that report indicates Simias continues to run, where in my case
Simias is crashed too.

I can't point the finger specifically at 10.4, because I have a Mac
10.3.9 where I have seen Mono crashing with similar information in the
mono.crash.log, but without the zlib version difference noted in the

Is anyone else seeing this? Anyone able to offer insight to a solution?
