I have been using samba as my file server. However, I have not been able to
properly connect to the server with opensuse 10.2. I found out about
ifolder and have been trying to get it up and running. I like the concept.
2 aspects in particular appeal to me - having a local copy that can be used
as backup or during server downtime; synchronization so that laptops can
easily connect/disconnect.

A while ago, I installed ifolder server but could not connect to it. I have
finally succeeded in installing an ifolder server that I can connect to.
The server is installed on opensuse 10.2. The installed version of the
server is 3.5.6172.1-32.3.

My original (samba) file server is running suse 10.1. I installed ifolder3
client and successfully connected to the ifolder server. Most of my folders
uploaded just fine and have been synchronizing just fine. One folder,
however, after uploading, will not fully synchronize.

I have also had problems synchronizing this folder on other machines - some
running suse 10.1 and one or two running opensuse 10.2. It seems that each
machine has problems, but I get different problems on each machine.

Apparently, there are at least 3 different sources for ifolder3 rpms. I have
normally tried the 2 that offer 3.4 builds. Recently, I did try the 3.6
build that just came out.

If you need any more info, please let me know. Any help would be
