Can anyone help with the following. I run a 2 node DL380 cluster
running
NW6sp3.

The load script for iPrint is

nss /poolactivate=NDPS
mount NDPS VOLID=250
CLUSTER CVSBIND ADD LONCLUSTER_NDPS_SERVER 192.xxx.xxx.xxx
NUDP ADD LONCLUSTER_NDPS_SERVER 192.xxx.xxx.xxx
add secondary ipaddress 192.xxx.xxx.xxx

LOAD BROKER .LONBROKER.SERVICES.LON.BBR /ALLOWDUP
LOAD NDPSM .LONMANAGER.SERVICES.LON.BBR /DBVOLUME=NOCHECK
/IPADDRESS=192.xxx.xxx.xxx
HTTPBIND 192.xxx.xxx.xxx/keyfile:"SSL CertifcateIP'"

I changed our internal DNS name last weekend from oldcompany.com to
newcompany.com which caused the IPP printing to stop working for all
users
as the path to the printer uses the DNS name.

A reinstall of the printer driver from the IPP web page fixed the
problem
but the issue is that now the printer path on the users PC points to
the
node running NDPS not the secondary address, i.e. the path used to be
ipp://cluster_ndps_server.domain.com/ipp/PRT1138

it is now

ipp://server_node.domain.com/ipp/PRT1138

The obvious problem is that if NDPS migrates to another node the url
will
break and the printing will stop.

Why has the path changed to using the primary address of the node
instead of
the secondary address of the NDPS resource??

The load script hasn't changed and has the correct IPADDRESS and
HTTPBIND
switches so it should work on the secondary address.

Any help appreciated.

Paul.
