I recently upgraded a NSB4.2 server to NWSB6.5 on a HP Proliant ML330.
Attached to the server was a Canon i6500 inkjet printer. If the printer is
placed in power save mode, CPU utilsation spikes to 100% (50% on
Hyperthreading but really 100%) and stays there making the server
unbearably slow. ANYTHING, restores the server to normal - unplugging the
printer, disconnecting the printer cable, unloading print manager,
bringing the printer online.

Is this typical? Is there a solution to this problem?
