I have seen very similar issues posted in other forums but have found it to
b e a problem with the iPrint client or something that it interacts with.
If the iPrint cient is installed on an XP Pro workstation, it will not log
in at all. The login box is displayed but after we put in the password, it
stays at a blank desktop screen. If we choose the workstation only option,
it will eventually log into the local machine and we are able to manually
launch the Novell Login and gain access to the servers.

WinXP Pro sp2
iPrint Client 2.x and 3.x (happens with all of them)
Novell Client 4.83 and 4.90 and beta 4.91
IP only, no IPX
NetWare 6.5sp2

Any help would be greatly appreciated.
