We use NDPS printers for printing from Unix to Netware with LPR.
It works fine if no restriction on the IP address range is given.
If the address range is 'restricted', e.g. from
0.0.0.0 to 255.255.255.255
then print jobs are not longer accepted by the server; from lprng
on a Linux Client ('srv') you get a message like

Status Information:
sending job 'petra@srv+750' to ps@xxx.xx.xxx.xx
connecting to 'xxx.xx.xxx.xx', attempt 1
connected to 'xxx.xx.xxx.xx'
requesting printer ps@xxx.xx.xxx.xx
job 'petra@srv+750' transfer to ps@xxx.xx.xxx.xx failed
error 'NONZERO RFC1179 ERROR CODE FROM SERVER' with ack 'ACK_STOP_Q'
sending str '^Bps' to ps@xxx.xx.xxx.xx

'ps' is the ndps printer; Printer gateway is HPGate; OS is NW65SP2.
Any ideas how to fix?

Thanks
