We have recently converted from the HP Gateway to Novell's Gateway. We
have mainly HP printers within the organisation. We are having problems
with some printers e.g HP Deskjet 5850. We get the message that the
printer is not connected within NWAdmin. We are running Netware 6.5. If
we set our computers to print directly to the IP address then it prints.
If we try through IPrint or NDPS then it says printer is not connected
and does not print. If we revert back to HP Gateway then the printer
prints fine but due to support for HP Gateway being no longer supported
then I would therefore prefer not to use. If anyone has any ideas on this
then it would be most appreciated.
