i am pushing printer driver settings to ndps printer with little troubles
(see http://www.novell.com/coolsolutions/trench/3515.html).

however the same trick doesnt seem to work with a iprint printer (see

the command i use is this

RUNDLL32 PRINTUI.DLL,PrintUIEntry /Sr /n "\\ipp://
\lp025n" /a "Y:\ndps\printersettings\lp025n.bin" d u g 2

When I try this, I simply get "Operation could not be completed" That's
it doesn't say anything about wrong port, printer doesn't exist etc. Just
the above error.

the printer driver is installed and usable

whenever i try, for example the remove command it works fine.

also when i fill in a non existing printer i get a nice error message
saying it cant find the printer.

i have exactly the same problem as described in this thread
