I know that with previous versions, when/if the Server went down, the
clients would not be able to print. Because it depended on the print
manager and broker being loaded on the server. At this time we're using
IP printing, so if connection is lost to the server, clients can still
print. But iPrint was still not truly IP based printing.

I noticed in the article below, under iPrint, it's says "the ability to
print directly to a local printer without routing to a print server".
This prompted me to see if true IP printing is a new feature, that once
the printers are set up, does it still need the server to be up in order
to print.
