Hi folks,

I'm wondering if any of you can advise on how to safely update my
cluster NDPS directory when installing a service pack.

My problem is that whenever i print to an Epson Stylus 700 printer which
has NDPS auditing enabled, it abends the node in question. This is
documented in
http://support.novell.com/cgi-bin/se...i?10099190.htm
however that TID says that the fix is in NW65SP4, which we have already
applied.

I've been reading the OES documentation, specifically:
NOVELL CLUSTER SERVICES 1.8.1 RESOURCE CONFIGURATION GUIDE FOR NETWARE
It contains clear guidelines for installing NDPS in a cluster, but
nothing at all for *updating* NDPS in a cluster.

One of the steps involved in installing NDPS clustered is copying
SYS:\NDPS to the cluster volume. I suspect that there are a lot of
updated files i need to bring across from SYS:\NDPS to PRINT:\NDPS, but
i can't find any information about how to update it safely (i.e. without
destroying my current NDPS configuration).

I found a message in the iPrint forum previously that touched on this
issue (see "Upload Drivers in Clustered Environment" from 2004-11-06),
but there were no replies.

Any ideas?

Regards,
Paul
